Breaking Barriers: Free Sanitary and Hygiene Products for All Our Teams

At the Staffordshire Girls & Ladies League, we’ve always believed football should be a place where every girl and woman feels confident, supported, and able to give her best – on and off the pitch. That’s why we’re proud to announce an exciting new partnership to provide free sanitary and hygiene products for all our teams.

We know that periods shouldn’t be a barrier to participation in sport. Yet for many players, the lack of access to sanitary products or the worry about managing their period while training or playing can have a real impact. Together with our partners, we’re tackling this head-on by ensuring every team in the league has access to essential hygiene items – completely free of charge.

This initiative means:
 ✔️ Free sanitary and hygiene products available for all players across the league.
 ✔️ Support for coaches and teams to create an open, stigma-free environment around periods and personal care.
 ✔️ One less worry for girls and women stepping onto the pitch to enjoy the game they love.
